Coolaroo Foundation commits to three more years of Bundanon’s In This Place learning program.

19 OCTOBER 2026. We’re delighted to announce that Coolaroo Foundation will continue to support Bundanon’s In This Place learning program for Shoalhaven high school students for a further three years.

Since 2024, the program has opened new doors for young people experiencing relative socio-economic disadvantage, giving them the chance to immerse themselves in nature, art and learning, right on their doorstep. Each year, a new group of students is selected, and each group visits Bundanon four times across the school year, exploring this extraordinary place through a different lens every visit.

The response from students and teachers has been strong, and demand continues to grow, with schools returning year after year.

“Bundanon is on the doorstep of so many Shoalhaven young people, yet out of reach for many of them. Supporting In This Place for a further three years means more students who might otherwise miss out can learn, create and connect with this extraordinary place”
— JANIE FORREST | cOOLAROO FOUNDATION CHAIR

This renewed commitment reflects our mission to enable potential and alleviate disadvantage, and our focus area Strengthen Futures for Children and Young People. It means more young people who might otherwise miss out can learn, create and connect with Country at Bundanon, at no cost to them or their families.

We’re proud to continue this partnership with Bundanon and look forward to seeing what the next three years bring.
