Our pillars of care

We work across two key pillars, Caring for People and Caring for Places , in recognition of the intrinsic link between the health of human communities and the natural environment.

Caring for people

We support people who seek to improve life for others

Communities thrive when everyone is valued for their unique qualities and contributions, where safety is prioritised for all, and everyone has the opportunity to experience joy, safety, physical and emotional health and creativity.

We want to create paths for people who may be remote from city amenities, schools and universities, or who may find themselves needing help in challenging times, places or circumstances.

Our focus areas

Safety for women, children and families

We support organisations working to prevent violence and harm, to support those at risk, and to strengthen the systems and communities that enable people to live safely and thrive.

Strengthening futures for children and young people

Every child and young person deserves to enter adulthood with confidence and purpose, built through increasing access to education, opportunities, leadership and employment, and nurturing a deep sense of wellbeing, connection and belonging - the foundations of a thriving life.

Caring for places

We support people restoring nature and building healthier ecosystems

We believe that health of ecosystems is vital to the wellbeing of future generations, and that sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship and biodiversity management are key to protecting these ecosystems.

We want to provide communities with opportunities to live their best lives as part of balanced, diverse, healthy, ecosystems that are respected and supported to truly thrive.

Our focus areas

Protecting biodiversity and habitat

Safeguarding and restoring ecosystems, species and natural processes - particularly by addressing the underlying drivers of environmental degradation such as land use, agriculture and resource management.

Food for people & planet

Where our two pillars meet
What we eat, and how it’s produced, shapes the health of both people and ecosystems, which puts food at the heart of both our pillars. We support food systems that deliver healthy, accessible nutrition while regenerating the natural environment and reducing harm to animals and ecosystem.
